1. JAPAN TRAVEL ADVISORY
Japan has implemented Quarantine Questionnaire Web for Narita bound flights; this same additional
requirement will be implemented for Kansai bound flights effective December 14, 2020. Please see the
attached PDF for detailed procedure explanation. For those who are unable to get QR code, printed forms on
board would still be distributed by the cabin crew.
2. UPDATE ON REGULATION OF CROSS-BOUNDARY CONVEYANCES AND TRAVELERS IN HONG KONG (CAP. 599H)
Kindly refer to the list of countries to comply with the additional requirements for entering Hong Kong and updated hotel reservation requirement (from 14 days to 14 nights) effective 07 December 2020.
All passengers who have been to the following countries for the past 14 days are required to produce additional documentation/ proofs before acceptance in the flight as required by the Hong Kong Government.

The passenger must provide the following documents:
1. Test report in English or Chinese issued by a laboratory or healthcare institution bearing the name of the relevant traveler identical to that in his/her valid travel document to show that:
- the passenger underwent a nucleic acid test for COVID-19, the sample for which was taken from the
relevant traveler within 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the specified aircraft - the test conducted on the sample is a nucleic acid test for COVID-19
- the result of the test is negative for COVID-19
If the test report is not in English or Chinese or does not contain all of the information mentioned above, a written confirmation in English or Chinese issued by the laboratory or healthcare institution bearing the name of the of the passenger identical to that in his/her valid travel document, containing all of the aforementioned information and presented together with the test report.
2. Documentary proof in English or Chinese to show that the laboratory or healthcare institution is ISO 15189 accredited or is recognized or approved by the relevant authority of the government of the place in which the laboratory or healthcare institution is located. It can be in the form a copy of “Certificate of Accreditation”, “Certificate of Compliance”, or information printed out from government official website.

3. Confirmation in English or Chinese of room reservation in a hotel in Hong Kong for not less than 14 nights starting on the day of the arrival of the passenger in Hong Kong.

3. FREE ANTIGEN TESTING FOR MANILA TO GENERAL SANTOS FLIGHTS
The General Santos Local Government Unit has now allowed EITHER a negative Antigen or RT-PCR test result as a requirement for travel and entry to General Santos City. As an early Christmas treat, Philippine Airlines is offering a complimentary Antigen Test to all passengers on flights from Manila to General Santos from December 7-17, 2020 only.
The free test will be conducted at PAL Gate 3, Andrews Ave., Pasay City and passengers are instructed to proceed to the testing center as early as 6 hours and no later than 2 hours before departure time. The test is done via drive-thru or walk-in service and is administered by our testing partner, Health Metrics Inc. (HMI). A PAL shuttle is available for passenger transfers from PAL Gate 3 to NAIA T2.
Booked passengers on these flights shall be receiving e-mail and SMS notifications if they have provided their contact details upon booking.
This offer is optional and passengers may alternatively choose to undergo an Antigen Test at other accredited laboratory and testing facilities, or choose to undergo an RT-PCR Test at their own expense instead. RT-PCR tests for General Santos are valid within 72 hours from departure time and can also be availed through the PAL Testing Facility at PAL Learning Center in Ermita, Manila, or through our accredited testing partners.
How to Avail of the free Antigen Test
- Register via the PAL Passenger Profile and Health Declaration Form as early as five (5) days before your departure via https://bit.ly/PALDomPPHD. Save the confirmation e-mail and QR Code after successfully registering.
- Register via our partner laboratory’s booking portal via https://bit.ly/PALHMIRegForm. Save the QR code for presentation before testing.
- Proceed to the testing center at PAL Gate 3, Andrews Avenue, Pasay City for your Antigen Test as early as six (6) hours and no later than two (2) hours before your flight. In your GPS software application, you may input “PAL Gate 3” or click this Google Maps pin for easier navigation. We encourage you to come to the testing center as early as possible for faster processing of your Antigen Test.
- Show your QR code before entering and undergo the Antigen Test. The test will be conducted by our testing partner, Health Metrics Inc. (HMI) and you may undergo via drive-thru or walk-in service. Result will be printed and released at designated areas of the testing center. Passengers who test positive shall not be allowed to check-in and board the flight.
- Proceed to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 for check-in. You may ride the free PAL shuttle from PAL Gate 3 to NAIA Terminal 2 upon presentation of the negative Antigen test result.
- Check-in for your flight. Present your negative test result and other travel requirements to the Documents Check booth for check-in clearance.
4. DAVAO HUB OPERATIONS FOR DECEMBER 2020
For the month of December 2020, PAL will operate additional flights to Davao from Clark, Cebu, Tagbilaran and Zamboanga. These flights are in addition to the 4x weekly flights from Manila to Davao (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday) and 9x weekly flights from Davao to Manila
