1. MIDDLE EAST OFW CHRISTMAS PROMO

 

This is to kindly inform our PAL passengers of our Middle East OFW Christmas Promo, which includes the
following:

1. Free RT-PCR Testing with guaranteed 24-hour test results for land-based OFWs and dependents on Middle
East flights, departing on December 21-31, 2020 from Dammam, Doha, Dubai, Riyadh, and Bahrain.
2. Special rate of PHP 2,000 at the PAL Testing Facility in Manila for Dubai-bound passengers on December
21-31, 2020.

 

 


 

 

2. NEW YORK QUARANTINE CRITERIA FOR TRAVEL

 

 

 

The State of New York has issued a mandatory 14-day quarantine requirement to travelers arriving the State,
which include Filipinos, as the Philippines falls in their list of CDC Level 3 countries. This is in addition to their
requirement of the submission of an accomplished NYS Health form upon arrival.

 

 

However, as a new development, New York is now allowing travelers to “test out” of the mandatory 14-day
quarantine. Details of the new guidelines as follows:

 

 

Quarantine Criteria for Travel

 

 

All travelers entering New York from a state that is not a contiguous state, or from a CDC Level 2 or 3 Travel
Health Notice country, shall quarantine for a period of 14 days, consistent with Department of Health regulations
for quarantine, unless:

 

 

1. For travelers who were outside of New York for more than 24 hours, such travelers must obtain testing
within 72 hours prior to arrival in New York, AND
2. Such travelers must, upon arrival in New York, quarantine according to Department of Health guidelines,
for a minimum of three days, measured from time of arrival, and on day 4 may seek a diagnostic test to exit
quarantine.

 

 

For travelers that meet (1) and (2) criteria above, the traveler may exit quarantine upon receipt of the
second negative test result.

3. UPDATE ON REGULATION OF CROSS-BOUNDARY CONVEYANCES AND TRAVELS IN HONG KONG (CAP.599H)

 

 

With reference to ADV20-295 DATED 10 DEC 2020, please be advised on the updates on the entry requirements
in Hong Kong.

 

 

Passengers who have visited any country outside China, Macau and Taiwan in the past 14days (excluding very
high-risk places specified below) must provide confirmation in English or Chinese of room reservation in a hotel
in Hong Kong for not less than 14 nights stay starting the day of the arrival in Hong Kong. Effective 22 December
2020 compulsory quarantine should be at a designated hotel.

All passengers who have been to the following countries for the past 14 days are required to produce
additional documentation/ proofs before acceptance in the flight as required by the Hong Kong Government.

 

 

The passenger must provide the following documents:

 

 

1. Test report in English or Chinese issued by a laboratory or healthcare institution bearing the name of the
relevant traveler identical to that in his/her valid travel document to show that:

 

  • the passenger underwent a nucleic acid test for COVID-19, the sample for which was taken from the relevant traveler within 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the specified aircraft
  • the test conducted on the sample is a nucleic acid test for COVID-19
  • the result of the test is negative for COVID-19

 

 

If the test report is not in English or Chinese or does not contain all of the information mentioned above, a written confirmation in English or Chinese issued by the laboratory or healthcare institution bearing the name of the of the passenger identical to that in his/her valid travel document, containing all of the aforementioned information and presented together with the test report.

 

 

 

2. Documentary proof in English or Chinese to show that the laboratory or healthcare institution is ISO 15189 accredited or is recognized or approved by the relevant authority of the government of the place in which the laboratory or healthcare institution is located. It can be in the form a copy of “Certificate of Accreditation”, “Certificate of Compliance”, or information printed out from government official website.

3. Confirmation in English or Chinese of room reservation in a hotel in Hong Kong for not less than 14 nights starting on the day of the arrival of the passenger in Hong Kong. Effective 22 December 2020 room reservation should be at a designated hotel.

4. PAL ADDS MORE FLIGHTS TO/FROM LEGAZPI

 

Starting 18 December 2020, Philippine Airlines will add three (3) more flights between Manila and Legazpi, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. These flights are in addition to the daily flights.

5. DOMESTIC FLIGHTS UPDATE: RXS / PPS / TAG / USU / DVO

 

 

We are pleased to advise that Philippine Airlines is adding more flights to/from Manila – Roxas, Puerto Princesa, Tagbilaran and Busuanga (Coron). Flight details as follows:
