1. INFORMATION ON THAILAND VISA APPLICATION AND CERTIFICATE OF ENTRY FOR NON-THAI NATIONALS
Applying for visa
The following types of visa are currently issued by the Royal Thai Embassy, Manila:
- Diplomatic Visa / Official Visa / Non-Immigrant F
- Non-Immigrant B (Non-Thai nationals who have work permit or have been granted permission to work in Thailand in accordance with Thai laws / who wish to do business in Thailand / have invested in Thailand or have made a bank transfer from abroad or have invested in Thai Government Bond)
- Non-Immigrant IB
- Non-Immigrant ED (Non-Thai nationals who are students of educational establishments in Thailand approved by Thai authorities, except for students of non-formal schools in accordance with laws on private schools or of any other similar private educational establishments)
- Non-Immigrant O-A
- Non-Immigrant O (Non-Thai nationals who are spouses, parents or children of Thai nationals / spouses or children of non-Thai nationals who have work permit or have been granted permission to work in Thailand / parents or guardians of non-Thai nationals who are students of educational establishments in Thailand / who need to receive medical treatment in Thailand and their accompanying persons / retirement)
- Tourist
- Tourist – MT (Non-Thai nationals who need to receive medical treatment in Thailand)

Schedule for visa application:
Monday / Wednesday / Friday (except Embassy’s holiday)
Acceptance of application between 10:00H – 12:00H
Release of passport between 14:00H – 15:00H
Note: The Royal Thai Embassy, Manila requests applicants to upload a copy of valid visa or re-entry permit when applying for a COE online
Applying for Certificate of Entry (COE)
Foreigners may apply for COE online at https://coethailand.mfa.go.th. Please visit the website for more information and instruction.
Requirements for COE
For Pre-approval:
- Requirements for each category of non-Thai nationals eligible to enter Thailand
- Valid visa or valid re-entry permit
When Travel is Confirmed:
- Plane ticket booking
- Alternative State Quarantine confirmation (List of approved ASQ can be found in http://bit.ly/3556nel)
On Departure
The following documents are required at check-in and upon entry into the Kingdom of Thailand:
- Certificate of Entry issued by the Royal Thai Embassy
- A health insurance policy covering treatment and medical expenses related to COVID-19 with a minimum coverage of USD100,000
- A medical certificate with RT-PCR laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected, issued no more than 72 hours before departure
- A Fit to Fly or Fit to Travel health certificate
