Philippine Airlines Advisory: FREE Antigen Testing for MNL-GES passengers

The General Santos Local Government Unit has now allowed EITHER a negative Antigen or RT-PCR test result as a requirement for travel and entry to General Santos City. As an early Christmas treat, Philippine Airlines is offering a complimentary Antigen Test to all passengers on flights from Manila to General Santos from December 7-17, 2020 only.

The free test will be conducted at PAL Gate 3, Andrews Ave., Pasay City and passengers are instructed to proceed to the testing center as early as 6 hours and no later than 2 hours before departure time. The test is done via drive-thru or walk-in service and is administered by our testing partner, Health Metrics Inc. (HMI). A PAL shuttle is available for passenger transfers from PAL Gate 3 to NAIA T2.

Booked passengers on these flights shall be receiving e-mail and SMS notifications if they have provided their contact details upon booking.

This offer is optional and passengers may alternatively choose to undergo an Antigen Test at other accredited laboratory and testing facilities, or choose to undergo an RT-PCR Test at their own expense instead. RT-PCR tests for General Santos are valid within 72 hours from departure time and can also be availed through the PAL Testing Facility at PAL Learning Center in Ermita, Manila, or through our accredited testing partners.
