ANA has adopted a range of precautionary measures in response to the outbreak of COVID-19 in order to maintain a safe and secure environment for its customers, flight/cabin crew and other employees. Learn more about it here.
A. Temporary Changes to Flight Schedule
In light of reduced passenger demand due to the spread of COVID-19, some Japan domestic and international routes have been temporarily suspended / reduced.

B. Special Handling of Air Tickets – Rebooking
Tickets may be rebooked without fee for below passengers who wish to change their flights to a later date:
a) Passengers whose flights have been suspended / reduced as above (see: A)
OR
b) Passengers who have confirmed reservations on ANA flights (both ANA-operated and ANA-marketed codeshare flights) and who meet the eligibility conditions below.
Eligibility:
Passengers holding 205 tickets for itineraries to / from / via Japan on ANA flights (both ANA-operated and ANA-marketed codeshare flights):
- Totally unused or partially used tickets
- Must be issued in the Philippines
- Date of Ticket Issuance – on / before October 15, 2020
- Date of Original Departure – until January 12, 2021
Instructions for Rebooking:
- Rebooking penalties waived for a one-time change only.
- New travel date until March 31, 2021 (for totally unused and partially used tickets).
- New flights must be booked using the same flight details and booking class as original. (Exception: Change from ANA-marketed codeshare flight to ANA-operated flight is allowed.) Tickets must be re-issued as even-exchange. If the same booking class is not available, collect fare difference.
- Input waiver code in the endorsement box prior to ticket issuance.
- Changes must be finalized one (1) day before original departure date at the latest.
- Subsequent changes are subject to original fare rules and restrictions.
- Rebooking must be done by the original issuing agent.
C. Special Handling of Air Tickets – Refund
Tickets may be refunded without penalty for the following:
a) Passengers whose flights have been suspended / reduced as above (see: A)
OR
b) Passengers who have confirmed reservations on ANA flights (both ANA-operated and ANA-marketed codeshare flights) and who meet the conditions for voluntary refund* detailed below.
Eligibility:
Passengers holding 205 tickets
Instructions for Refund:
- Cancel flight segments at least 1 day before original departure date.
- Change ticket coupon status to “R.” Do not process as auto-refund through GDS.
- File Refund Application through BSP.
Please attach a screen shot or a PDF file of the ticket with the coupon status changed to “R.” Indicate in the remarks if the ticket is totally unused or partially used.
- Once Refund Application has been approved, send a letter to luirish.lompero@tdgworld.com to request TIEZA 353 for PH Tax refund. Requests sent while RA is still being processed will not be entertained.
PH Tax refund validity through TIEZA is 2 years after date of ticket issuance.
TIEZA 353 forms may be picked up from the ANA Ticketing Office once operations resume.
- Refunds can be requested up to 1 year and 30 days after the travel start date (or issuance date for totally unused tickets).
*Conditions for Voluntary Refund:
For itinerary from / to / via / within Japan
- Date of Ticket Issuance – on / before October 15, 2020
- Date of Original Departure – From February 26***, 2020 to January 12, 2021
*** Exceptions for itineraries to/from China (including Hong Kong and Macau)
For itinerary from / to WUH
- Date of Original Departure – From January 21, 2020
For itinerary from / to airports in mainland China other than WUH
- Date of Original Departure – From January 24, 2020
For itinerary from / to HKG/MFM
- Date of Original Departure – From January 30, 2020
Original fare rules and restrictions apply for passengers whose flights do not fall in the above-specified conditions but wish to voluntarily rebook or refund their tickets.
Our website is also equipped to do full refund or rebooking (up to March 31, 2021 departure) for bookings made on the ANA website. If you receive calls from passengers who booked through our website requesting assistance for rebooking or refunding, kindly direct them to the website.
