1. NEW YORK GOVERNOR’S EXECUTIVE ORDER 205.1: QUARANTINE RESTRICTION ON TRAVELERS ARRIVING IN NEW YORK

Effective immediately, all international travelers entering New York from Level 2 and 3 countries (which includes the Philippines) are required to home quarantine for 14 days, and fill out the NYS Department of Health traveler health form to further prevent the spread of COVID-19.

2. JAPAN TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR TRANSITING PASSENGERS

Kindly see below reminders for Transiting Passengers to Japan:

  • Transiting passengers to international flights do not need a Japan Visa to transit as they will not pass through immigration. Note: split tickets should be checked-through until final destination and receiving carrier pays USD100 per baggage for more than 6-hours layover.
  • Transiting passengers do not need to submit a PCR test upon check-in, will not undergo COVID-19 testing and 14-day quarantine.
  • Transiting passengers to domestic flights (interior Japan) is prohibited and not allowed. Transiting passengers should connect same day and same airport.

 

3. MANILA TO CEBU v.v. UPDATE

5. SPECIAL FLIGHTS TO AND FROM BACOLOD

Philippine Airlines will be mounting special flights to and from Bacolod on October 2, 4, 5, 9 and 12.

Flights on Oct 2, 5 and 9 will only carry Bacolod City LSIs and ROFs, and APORs bound for Negros Occidental. LSIs and ROFs bound for areas outside Bacolod City will not be accepted.

Flights on Oct 12 will carry LSIs, ROFs, and APORs bound for Negros Occidental and Bacolod City.

6. RE-ITERATION ON GUIDELINES FOR DUBAI INBOUND PASSENGERS

Effective immediately, the following conditions must be met for all flights to/from DXB or DWC:

  • Fill the Undertaking Form before arriving at DXB. Submitted before PCR test on arrival in DXB. Attached Undertaking Form.
  • Download the COVID 19 DXB Smart App before departure. QR code to app on the declaration form and attached instructions in Arabic and English.
  • Print Negative COVID19 Certificate in English or Arabic. PCR test no later than 96 hours before departure. Children under 12 and passengers with moderate to severe disabilities are exempt from PCR.
  • Undergo PCR test at DXB before immigration and self-isolate until results.
  • GDRFA approval for Dubai Issued residence visa on https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Smart_OTCServicesPortal/ReturnPermitService.aspx
  • Tourists with valid visa or visa on arrival are not required to get any approvals from GDRFA or ICA
  • UAE National are not required to conduct PCR test before arriving at DXB. Tested on arrival only
